Introducing Sun Flux
The smarter way to reduce your electric bills.
The first solar system designed to maximise your savings return on investment.
DID YOU KNOW
Heating water typically makes up the single largest expense on your electric bill.
THAT’S RIGHT
Water heating can be up-to 40% of your total bill
Cost of energy to heat water:
Filling your bathtub – $2.04
Reheating your bathtub with hot water – $0.23
Having a shower – $0.43
Washing up dishes by hand – $0.78
Running the dishwasher- $0.14
Water heater from ambient to working temperature – $2.04
Water heater running cost for a week with zero use – $4.98
Note: These prices are based of the national average of $0.14 per kWh, California is currently paying $0.33 per kWh.
These prices also don’t include the cost of water.
How much is hot water costing you?
Remember… just $2.73 a day is $1,000.00 per year!
The smart approach to going solar
Sun Flux was designed to maximize your return on investment.
Minimum expense, maximum savings.
Traditional solar systems rely on inverters to convert DC (Direct Current) from solar panels into AC (Alternating Current), the standard form of electricity for household appliances. However, this conversion process is far from efficient, wasting a considerable amount of precious solar energy.
To minimise the upfront cost we looked to develop a specilaised new type of solar technology that bypasses this conversion process.
Introducing our DC Modulation Technology™
This cutting-edge innovation leverages sophisticated microprocessor technology to refine the DC output directly, simulating AC power without the inefficiency of conversion.
Best in class performance 96.2% peak efficiency.
Sun Flux was independently tested by The University Of Melbourne.
Best in class performance
Sun Flux is built on our revolutionary DC Modulation Technology™, delivering up-to 3.5x more efficiency
This makes Sun Flux the most efficient way to heat your water.
More simple, more reliable
Sun Flux uses PV or electric solar to power any standard electric water heater, leveraging your homes existing plumbing
Sun Flux was designed for dependability in the harshest conditions.
There are no moving parts to break, and no additional pipes or pumps to leak or freeze. Sun Flux simply connects to your existing electric water heater and powers it using highly efficienct free solar power.
Unlike old fashioned thermal systems, Sun Flux does not rely on heat to warm your water, making it the ideal solution for cold climates.
Note: additional panels can be used to overcome extreme conditions.
No moving parts
Zero maintenance
Quick easy install
Leverage your existing plumbing
No ugly rooftop water tanks
No additional pipes
No increased risk of leaks or water damage
No added freeze risk
Superior performance in cold & overcast conditions
Real World Performance
We installed a power meter on a customers electric water heater, and tracked the power usage for 30 days.
This system was setup in “hybrid mode” allowing for grid power to be connected to the secondary heating element of their hot water tank, and only used when the system is under heavy usage.
Sun Flux was able to save this customer approximately $90 in water heating expenses.
That is a massive $1080 in their first year with Sun Flux

Hi Cam, Thanks for all your help and advice re the hot water solar system now installed at our residence in Elanora.
Since installation day, we have only once put the switch over to the electricity grid and that was only for 1 hr during the day after initialisation of the system.
A few cloudy and some rain days since but to our surprise, we have NOT had to switch from solar input.
Our panels as u know only receive full sun for probably 6 hrs through the day and the rest being mottled sun yet we have very hot water!
This system is way ahead of solar heat and the 4 panels (1.16Kw) is definitely the way to go.
I await the next power bill to see how much we have saved.
Thanks again for your service – can’t wait to see what happens in the future with a view to going completely off grid with the TESLA batteries.
Thanks again.

Good morning Dane, It is now some 6 weeks since Brightlec installed our SunFlux Hot water system and I felt compelled to drop you a line to congratulate Sunflux on fabulous Product which seems to have outstripped even my best expectations.
I must say that I was sceptical that the unit would not require help from the grid in the case of several days of absolutely “No Sun“.
As you know, we have just had a week of continuous rain and heavy cloud.
I advise you now that, 24 hours after the installation, when we had hot water, I turned off the Grid supply and I have not turned it back on and I don’t expect that I will need to.
Your system is working perfectly and I will be happy recommend the system to any interested parties.
Please feel free to use this if it can assist you in promoting an excellent product which actually does what it claims.
Yours sincerely”.

Hi, We have had the Sun flux installed at our house with 5x 260w panels since just before Chrissy. So far we have only had to use the booster switch once, on a particularly cloudy day that coincided with greater than normal hot water usage.
Apart from this we have had no issues whatsoever and enough hot water for a family of four, including two young kids who have a bath every night. So far the unit has exceeded our expectations and we are very happy with our purchase and the ease of installation.
It worked out much cheaper than getting a whole new solar hot water unit, and so far is working just as well if not better.

Since installing a Sun Flux I have seen a reduction of over 30% on my power bills and am happy with it thus far.

I made the Switch to Sun Flux in 2019, after realising how much I was spending annually on my gas water heater.
So far my two sun flux hot water systems haven’t missed a beat and I would be very happy to recommend them to anyone
